MyFundedFutures Review 2026: The Newcomer with the Best Trustpilot Score

Rating: 4.1/5 | Futures-Only | USA | Founded 2023

MyFundedFutures (MFFU) launched in late 2023 and has quickly become one of the most talked-about futures prop firms in the space. Not because of marketing, but because of results: a 4.9/5 Trustpilot rating from over 11,000 reviews is extraordinary for any business, let alone one that’s only been operating for two years. For context, that’s more reviews than some firms have had customers.

But ratings are just one data point. Let’s break down exactly what MyFundedFutures offers, where it excels, and where it falls short.

What Is MyFundedFutures?

MyFundedFutures is a US-based futures proprietary trading firm founded by Matthew Leech in late 2023. Leech also runs MyFundedFX, a forex-focused prop firm, so the team comes with industry experience even if the futures-specific firm is newer.

MFFU funds traders in CME futures contracts through a one-phase evaluation. After passing, traders move into a sim-funded account with real profit distributions, then potentially a live account. The “sim-funded” structure is fully disclosed, you’re trading in simulation, but your profits are real money.

Key facts:

  • Account sizes: $50K, $100K, $150K
  • Evaluation type: 1-step (three plan variations)
  • Profit split: 80–90% depending on plan
  • Platforms: Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Quantower, ATAS, Volumetrica, R|Trader Pro
  • No activation fees, no daily loss limits

Three Plan Types: Core, Rapid, and Pro

Unlike most prop firms that offer one standardized account type, MFFU gives you three distinct plans designed for different trading styles. Understanding the differences is critical to choosing correctly.

Core Plan ($77/month for $50K)

The Core plan is designed for disciplined, consistent traders on a budget. It uses EOD (End-of-Day) trailing drawdown: meaning your floor only moves based on where you close each day, not your intraday highs. This is more forgiving than intraday trailing.

The tradeoff: 80/20 profit split (you keep 80%), and in the funded phase there’s a 40% consistency rule: no single day’s profit can exceed 40% of your total payout cycle profits. This limits how much you can extract in a single day, which frustrates traders with streaky strategies.

Core is only available at $50K.

Rapid Plan ($129–$249/month for $50K–$150K)

Rapid is the plan with the best profit economics: 90/10 split with no consistency rule in the funded phase. If you have a great day, you keep all of it toward your payout.

The catch: Rapid uses intraday trailing drawdown: the hardest type. Your floor updates in real time based on your equity, including unrealized (open trade) PnL. If you’re up $1,000 in an open trade, your floor rises by $1,000. If that trade then reverses and you lose the $1,000, you’ve now used up $2,000 of drawdown room even though your closed PnL is flat.

Intraday trailing drawdown requires exceptional trade management. Beginners who let trades go against them before reversing will find this particularly challenging.

Pro Plan ($229–$429/month for $50K–$150K)

Pro uses the more forgiving EOD trailing drawdown like Core, but with no consistency rule in the funded phase, you can have one massive day without it being capped. The split is 80/20, same as Core.

Pro is expensive relative to what it offers. You’re paying significantly more than Core for the same split and drawdown type, with the only advantage being no funded-phase consistency rule. For most traders, Core or Rapid will be more appropriate.

The No-Daily-Loss-Limit Advantage

One of MFFU’s most distinctive features is that none of their plans have a daily loss limit. This is unusual, most prop firms (Topstep, FTMO, etc.) will lock you out of your account if you lose too much in a single session.

At MFFU, a bad day doesn’t end your account immediately. You just need to stay above your trailing drawdown floor. This is more forgiving for traders who occasionally have difficult sessions but recover.

The flipside: without a daily loss limit, some traders lack a natural stopping point and dig deeper holes than they would otherwise. Discipline is still essential.

Overnight Holding and News Trading

Overnight positions: Allowed on all plans. This is a significant differentiator from Topstep, which prohibits overnight holding. Swing traders who work with multi-day setups will find MFFU much more accommodating.

News trading: Partially restricted. For Tier 1 events (FOMC, CPI, NFP, and several others), you must be fully flat 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after the event. Violations can cause payout issues in the funded phase, though they won’t immediately terminate your account.

Platform Flexibility

MFFU supports an impressive lineup of platforms, all connecting via Rithmic data feed:

  • Tradovate (web and desktop, great for beginners)
  • TradingView (clean UI, web-based)
  • NinjaTrader (desktop, most features, preferred by experienced traders)
  • Quantower (excellent for DOM/order flow trading)
  • ATAS (advanced volume analysis)
  • Volumetrica/Volsys (footprint charting)
  • R|Trader Pro (Rithmic’s native platform)

This is the widest platform support of any futures prop firm in this review. If you’ve already built your workflow around a specific platform, MFFU likely supports it.

Payouts and Fees

Processing speed: Next business day via RiseWorks bank transfer for most withdrawals. Crypto payouts have varying timelines.

Withdrawal fee: $15 per payout. This is ongoing and applies every time you request a withdrawal. Budget for it. if you withdraw monthly, that’s $180/year in fees.

Minimum payout: Varies by plan, typically $250+ to make the $15 fee worthwhile percentage-wise.

No activation fee: Unlike Topstep ($149 activation fee) or Apex ($149 activation fee), MFFU eliminated activation fees entirely in July 2025. This is a genuine cost advantage.

Evaluation Phase Rules

All MFFU plans share the same evaluation structure:

  • One-step evaluation (no verification phase)
  • 6% profit target for all account sizes
  • 50% consistency rule during evaluation: no single day can account for more than 50% of your total profit at evaluation time
  • No time limit: take as long as needed
  • No daily loss limit: just manage the trailing drawdown

Community Reputation

MFFU’s Trustpilot score of 4.9/5 from 11,000+ reviews is the most impressive reputation metric of any futures prop firm. For context, Topstep (with 13 years in business) has fewer Trustpilot reviews, and FTMO’s score is similar but in a larger, more competitive forex market.

Reddit communities consistently cite positive MFFU experiences, particularly around payout speed and customer service responsiveness. The negative reviews (around 1–2% of total) are mainly from traders who violated rules and received explanations of why their payout was denied, which is entirely legitimate firm behavior.

Who Should Use MyFundedFutures?

MFFU is ideal for:

  • Traders with established strategies who want platform flexibility (Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView, etc.)
  • Swing traders who need overnight holding permission
  • Traders who want no activation fee and fast payouts
  • Advanced traders comfortable with intraday trailing drawdown who want 90/10 split (Rapid plan)

MFFU may not be ideal for:

  • Absolute beginners to futures trading (the plan options can be confusing)
  • Traders who want 90/10 split with EOD drawdown (Topstep or Take Profit Trader offer this)
  • Mobile-first traders, all platforms are desktop-focused
  • Traders bothered by the $15 per-payout withdrawal fee

Final Verdict

MyFundedFutures is a genuinely strong competitor in the futures prop firm space. The 4.9 Trustpilot rating isn’t marketing, it’s thousands of traders voting with their experience. The three-plan structure gives real flexibility, the platform support is industry-leading, and the no-activation-fee policy saves money upfront.

The main weaknesses are the 80/20 split on Core and Pro plans (when Topstep offers 90/10 on EOD accounts) and the shorter track record compared to Apex or Topstep. But for traders prioritizing platform freedom and fast payouts, MFFU is hard to beat.
