Privacy Policy

BullTraders.com (“we”, “us”) publishes independent reviews and comparison tools for traders. This policy explains what data we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It covers only this website.

The short version

We run a static website. We do not operate our own application server, user accounts, or database that stores your personal data. The limited data we do collect is handled by a small set of named third-party processors, and analytics scripts load only after you consent.

What we collect and why

  • Analytics, only with consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are useful. GA4 loads in a consent-gated, privacy-oriented configuration: it stays disabled until you opt in, and we do not send personally identifying information to it.
  • Aggregate, cookieless traffic counts. We use Cloudflare, our content delivery network, and its Analytics Engine to keep aggregate counts (such as page views and affiliate-link clicks) for editorial and reporting purposes. These counts are not tied to your identity and do not require a cookie.
  • Newsletter, only if you ask. If you submit the newsletter form, your email address is sent to Sender, which manages our subscriber list and sends the emails. You can unsubscribe from any email.
  • Contact messages. If you use the contact form, your message and the email address you provide are processed by Formspree and delivered to us. We use them only to reply.
  • Video lessons (learning section). Our free video learning section uses Clerk for sign-in and Cloudflare to host the videos. If you sign in there, Clerk sets a session cookie so you stay logged in. We do not run quizzes, certificates, or progress tracking that store personal data.
  • Search. On-site search is powered by Pagefind, which runs entirely in your browser against a static index. Your search queries are not sent to us or to any third party.

Third-party processors

We share data only with the processors needed to run the features above:

  • Cloudflare (content delivery, security, aggregate analytics, and video streaming for the learning section)
  • Google Analytics 4 (website analytics, consent-gated)
  • Sender (newsletter delivery)
  • Formspree (contact form delivery)
  • Clerk (sign-in for the video learning section only)

Each processor handles your data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We group cookies into two categories, which you control through the cookie banner and the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work. This includes the Clerk session cookie, which is set only if you sign in to the video learning section. These are always on.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4. Loaded only after you accept.

If you reject analytics, those scripts do not load and no related cookies are set. The newsletter form is a first-party submission to our own endpoint and sets no marketing cookie.

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, it routes through our redirect at /go/ and on to the partner. The partner may set its own cookies once you reach its site, governed by that partner’s privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure for how this works and how it is kept separate from our ratings.

Your choices and rights

  • Change or withdraw cookie consent at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • Request access to or deletion of data a processor holds about you by contacting us; we will pass the request to the relevant processor.

Data retention

Because we do not run our own user database, retention is governed by each processor. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Children

This site is intended for adults making trading decisions and is not directed at children under 16.
